This genuine antique bed is the bed that Vietnamese people prefer to sleep on, using just a woven mat at night which they roll up during the day to sit on the bed during the day. Unlike Western beds it is the long side which goes against the wall; the side decoration is thus on only 3 sides: the 2 short sides and 1 long side.
